I SEE YOU WALK,
Last
Thursday I went to the Vth Edition of Granada's 'Pasarela Fortuny'. And
no, I am not going to make a chronic/criticism of the catwalk, because
that is for experts or fans of fashion. My
limits remain in showing all of you the show. For being my first time
in something like this, I decided to improvise, enjoy and learn to
observe the little details. It's
curious, in one hour 14 collections were catwalk in front of me. They
were created by people and minds completely different, and most of all, a
lot of months of har work. Work
which strutted at the same time as heels did (sometimes impossible
ones). Heels that models wore while the great music selection of the Dj
was sounding.
Few
people value the artistic effort that design gives, from clothes to
publicity, or from photography to video. That it is little valued and
bad paid, everything has to be told. Maybe
some of them will succeed along the time, maybe others will give it up
for a lack of support. We will let this in fate's hands... But one thing
I am sure is that the night of the 14th of November was unforgetable
for 14 people.
And that is what I show you in this post today.

El jueves pasado asistí a la V edición de la Pasarela
Fortuny de Granada. Y no, no voy hacer
una crónica/critica de los desfiles, porque eso lo dejo a mano y cuenta de los
especialistas o aficionados de la moda. Yo me limito a mostraros el show. Al
ser mi primera vez decidí improvisar, disfrutar y aprender a observar los pequeños
detalles. Es curioso, en una hora desfilaron ante mi 14 colecciones creadas por
personas y mentes complemente distintas, y sobre todo, muchos meses de duro
trabajo. Trabajo que se contoneaba al ritmo de los tacones (a veces imposibles)
de las modelos y la deliciosa selección musical del Dj. Poca gente valora el
esfuerzo artístico que supone el diseño, desde la ropa a la publicidad; o la fotografía
y el video. Que poco se valora y que mal pagado esta. Todo hay que decirlo. Quizás
algunos con el tiempo triunfen, quizás otros tiren la toalla por la falta de
apoyo, eso lo dejaremos en manos del destino… Pero de lo que si estoy seguro es
que la noche del 14 de Noviembre fue inolvidable para 14 personas. Y eso es lo que
os muestro hoy en este post.
